Our guests at Serendip are so wonderful and appreciative of our ambience, our sunsets and spectacular views!  Here is a sampling of their comments:

"We were interested in doing some snorkeling and diving, and a friend recommended St. John. We found Serendip on the internet and were impressed with the website and pleased with the reasonable cost to rent a unit. We called Ted Johnson, the resident manager, and fortunately, there was a unit available for the week we wanted. From that point on, Ted was very helpful in procuring a rental car, promptly answering questions by e-mail before we came, meeting us at the ferry dock and taking us to the rental agency, then leading us to Serendip after dark. We were pleased with (the Unit) and especially the veranda, which gave us a great view of the water and St. Thomas. The grounds around the condos made us feel that we were in a lush environment just the opposite of what we left in the winter in West Virginia. During our stay, Ted was always available to answer questions, fix things in the unit that didn’t work, make recommendations about where to go snorkeling, and he was very helpful in assisting us in getting a piece of lost luggage delivered from the airport. Our stay on St. John exceeded our expectations because of convenient location and amenities of Serendip and Ted’s friendly attention to our needs. We hope to have the opportunity to return to St. John and will definitely stay at Serendip when the time comes."

We arrived on the island with no reservations. We started calling places off the St. John Map, and Ted was the friendliest person we had spoken with, so we decided to stay at Serendip. We have had a wonderful experience…and look forward to our next visit to Serendip and St. John. Our honeymoon was very special.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Serendip. Six snorkel trips to 6 different beaches. Wow!! The condo was lovely and very comfortable. Started the week at Fish Trap Restaurant, and ended with Zozo’s (a real find). I sit here writing this on our last day, knowing we will be leaving soon, but soon to return.

Having been to the Caribbean many, many times, St. John quickly became my favorite spot. That’s why I proposed to Amy while here last August. We were married here on the 5th of May, and enjoyed our 5th stay at Serendip…our condo fit all our needs, and we wanted for nothing during our stay. Every activity we took advantage of made this a memorable trip here in paradise. We will be back.

“We left our northern Vermont mountain lake frozen over with three feet of snow (another kind of paradise).
