About Serendip on St. John

Discover why Serendip St. John lodging has become a cherished tradition for couples and families who return annually - some for over 30 years! Find out what it’s like to live on St. John. Serendip is located in a peaceful residential neighborhood, 300 feet above sea level, rendering spectacular sea views.  You're only minutes from the heart of Cruz Bay.  Each of our St. John USVI rentals is fully-furnished so you can relax in the comfort and convenience of a home-like setting while enjoying the sights and sounds of life in the Caribbean as you gaze at the blue sea from your covered verandah.
Located just outside of downtown Cruz Bay, we are within walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants, and the National Park Beaches. A 10 minute walk puts you in the heart of downtown with access to taxis, the public bus, and car rentals. Most of our guest rent a car for their entire stay, however you can navigate the island by taxi if driving on the left sounds like too much of an adventure for you!

Serendip St. John vacation rentals are perfect for a family vacation. Each one-bedroom unit sleeps four people comfortably. Cook a meal on the grill and eat poolside or back in your condo. Reconnect with the people most important to you while you’re literally oceans away from the concerns of busy life. If a getaway for two is more your style, Serendip St. John condos are a splendid choice. Share romantic candlelit dinners on your private verandah while taking in millions of stars and the “big city” lights from St. Thomas.

During your stay, take delight in the tropical flora and fauna on the Serendip grounds. You’re sure to spy numerous sea treasures gifted to us by guests over the years, as well as a variety of island wildlife: geckos, bananaquits, hummingbirds and even the occasional iguana lounging in a tree. Come experience island life at Serendip, an affordable and authentic St. John tradition for decades.
